Gilbert Displays celebrated 25 years of creating custom exhibits, architectural interiors and luxury retail environments this past June 24, 2011.
On the same date in 1986 father and son Gilbert and Barry Ballen formed Gilbert Displays and began building custom trade show exhibits from a 14,000 sq. ft. facility in Valley Stream, NY. Together, they created a company whose foundation and success stands upon the core values of delivering exceptional customer service and consistently exceeding client expectations.
Now in its 25th year, Gilbert Displays has transformed to offer a full range of marketing products and services. The company has since expanded its offerings beyond custom trade show exhibits to also include architectural interiors, custom graphics and event services and management. Having a nearly limitless range of specialties Gilbert Displays is perhaps best known outside the trade show world for developing intricate luxury retail and branded corporate environments.
Since its inception, Gilbert Displays has grown to nearly 200 people, many of whom were with the company when it started. Dedicated specialist teams ranging from designers and engineers to project managers, service coordinators, and on-site supervisors make Gilbert Displays better equipped than ever to carry its interpretation of customer service to all of its clients.
The company celebrated this milestone by hosting a luncheon for their employees complete with champagne toast and a delicious cake baked into the shape of Gilbert Displays’ headquarters. The entire company eagerly looks to the coming 25 years to be as rewarding as the last.
